Happy Sunday, John! Your citizens really have a feeling for culture. So many people here are only seen by events with beer and brezels. 😉 Best wishes, Michael

What else would I have during a fiddlers concert and Charlie Daniels music? A Texas rib-eye of course!! Fire it up, but extra-rare please.

High school fiddlers- that’s unusual, and very cool. I remember going to an annual fiddler’s convention in rural Pennsylvania. It was wonderful. Best to you, John.

I don’t usually recommend videos that take some time, but if you have twenty minutes or so, this YouTube reaction to Charlie Daniels’ “The Devil went Down to Georgia” is absolutely wonderful. The reactor is a 42 year old rapper from Colorado who never had heard Charlie Daniels, and his response to the performance is funny and sweet. Music sure can cross boundaries.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. He’s responded to other country songs, like “A County Boy Can Survive,” and his reactions always are as great as the songs. Personally, it was fun for me to learn that all rappers don’t cover themselves in gold chains and use an unfortunate vocabulary that I have to look up on the urban dictionary!
