“Hey, Twiggy. I’ve been watching some WWF wrestling.”

“Okay. It is always good to get some experience.”

“Yeah, but I need to put what I’ve learned into practice.”

“Don’t tell me you have found someone to practice with?”

“Not really. I thought I would be able to practice with you.”

“Yeah, I was being facetious. Of course, you want to practice with me.”

“What does facetious mean.? Does that mean yes?”

“It means I was  more or less kidding you.”

“Oh please, practice with me.”

“Dear Lord, I know I will regret this. Okay, I will.”

You’re the best. The first is the neck hold.”

“Yeah, I can hardly move.”

“Then there is the step-over-head grip.”

“Your foot is in my eye.”

Oh sorry. How’s this half-body slam treating you?”

“I’m powerless.”

“Now the full-body slam. I’ve got you pinned.”

“Yes, you do. One…Two. ..three.”

“What does one, two, three mean?”

“You pinned me, and you won.”

“Where you going?”

“I need to go to the showers and shake off my defeat.”

“There is always a rematch.”

“I’m sure of that.”

  16. How the tables have turned. Twiggy must have learned tolerance from Lucy. And all that puppy energy! Tempeste loves her big sis. They’re so cute. Sending ear scratches to them.

  18. Lots of laughs this morning, John. Twiggy’s face is priceless – patient and willing up to a point! She obviously learned a lot from Lucy. I’m glad they are getting along – and Tempeste has SO much energy!

      1. You know, Twiggy – I completely understand. It’s what siblings do. Our jobs as older sisters is to make them understand. But I won’t tell Dad, don’t worry 😉

  27. I love that Twiggy is teaching her new sibling what words mean. That’s what I call a good sister. And I’ll just bet Lucy taught Twiggy. Just a hunch.

    And who taught Lucy? I’ll give you a hint. You know him pretty well. 🙂

        4. Ya know, Professor…it’s one of my all time favorite films. Did you know they wanted Cary Grant, not Rex Harrison who played Higgins so flawlessly on the stage instead? And Cary refused saying…if they didn’t use Rex, they were making a huge mistake.

  31. Twiggy is just so good with Tempeste. The little one certainly has plenty of puppy exuberance. I sense there are going to be many more rematches ahead!

  34. 🤣 Awww … poor Twiggy! But then, I recall some episodes where a younger Twiggy used to torment Lucy in much the same way Tempeste is now doing to Twiggy! What goes ’round, comes ’round! I will say she is very patient with Tempeste and that’s a good thing to see.
