Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Tempeste in the Yard

“Why did Mom let us out in the yard?”

“So we can run and play together. Besides, she picked up all the leaves.”

“What is that fencing doing there?”

“That is to keep you from eating leaves on the other side.”

“How about a race.”

“Okay, I’ll race you to the other fence.”

“Hey, no fair. You are bigger and faster.”

“Also heavier, I might point out.”

“Okay, then I’ll race you back.”

“Hey, I didn’t even get a chance to run.”

“And you don’t get a chance either.”

“Okay, you win this one.”

“The panther and the puma sniff the ground looking for prey.”

“That is a nice story.”

“The panther decides to take out the puma.”

“I have to say the panther has a nice spring.”

“Time to give up Miss Puma.”

“You have not seen my secret move.”

“Come on. Show me the move.”

“Maybe when you get bigger.”

Aw, come on. Cough it up.”

“You are not old enough for my move.”

“I will keep bugging you until you show me the move.”

” I must say you are becoming very persuasive.”

“Whoa. What was that?”

“That dear heart was the move.”

“Can you show me again?”

“You have got to be kidding me.”

“No, I would like to see it again.”

“I think you should quit while you’re ahead.”

  5. I imagine the Panther is nonstop activity except when sleeping – but the Puma knows how to show patience and restraint.

    1. You have a very accurate picture, Frank. Sometimes Tempeste goes a little beyond the limits and then the Puma has to pin her down and explain the facts of co-existence. 😁

  12. Tempeste is growing fast, as all puppies do. She has an interesting leap, too. No wonder Twiggy has to teach her how far to take the game!

  21. Is it just me or is the panther starting to brindle up just a tad? That might complicate the panther persona a bit. Cute watching the ‘kids’ play together-I loved seeing the bouncy pic.

Are you having fun getting to know her?

I can’t stay. I have to help my daddy find a where a water leak in the ceiling is coming from.

Can’t figure where the drip is coming from, yet. Apparently plumbing drips can travel.
If it was the rain this morning, we will find out tomorrow night, when it rains again.

    1. She put on 3 pounds (1.36 kg) in three weeks. That was two weeks ago so I’m sure she has gained more. Her DNA test indicates a possible 25 pound (11.3 kg) end point.
