Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Tempeste Playing

“Do you have to stand over me like that?”

“You taught me that this is the winner’s stance.”

“Well yeah, I did. I may have made a mistake.”

“I don’t think so. This seems like a great move.”

“I think I’ve lost the feeling in my hindquarters.”

“That’s silly. You look fine to me.”

“Are you a doctor?”

“Of course not. I’m just saying everything looks like it’s supposed to look.”

“Well I feel numb.”

“Can you wiggle your toes?”

“Yes.”

“Then you are good to go another round.”

“Isn’t the referee supposed to count to three or something?”

“Are you saying I won?”

“As much as I hate to admit it. Yes, you won.”

“Look at you. The teacher has taught the student well.”

Wait a minute. What are you doing?”

“Nap time, right?”

“See that huge bed to the right. That’s yours.”

“Not as cozy. Come on, just for a little while.”

“Ten minutes tops.”

“I’ll take it.”

  1. Great photos, John, especially Twiggy and Tempeste napping together. The pictures illustrate that they sure are getting along with each other, even after some friendly sparring.

  2. Very magnanimous of you, Twiggy. It’s good to give confidence to your little sister like that. And to share you bed, to boot? You’re the best!

  3. The pictures are amazing. I love how T is still smaller than her big sister. The repartee between them Raymond Chandler couldn’t have written better. The casual sass. You could just see Twiggy chewin gum. He actually wrote a book called The Little Sister. Of course his tale was different, it didn’t wag. 🙂

  4. Brings back fond memories of my boys adapting to life as brothers. Cuteness factor off the charts. Sending the girls extra belly rubs to make up for none last week. Thanks for the smiles, John.

  5. At the call for nap time, it looked like there was a couple moments of uncertainty pre-Nap where the participants would each land, but for sure slumber was going to be had in any instance, John.🙂💤

  6. Why does this remind me of television wrestling? The only thing we need to decide is who plays the villain and hero and get them the proper wrestling attire.

  7. Oh, they are so cute! This reminds me of the early days with Raji, when we still had Junior. Raji just loved Junior and was always trying to cuddle up to him. He tolerated it for the most part, but usually his whip of tail would be flicking like crazy 😉

  8. Twiggy has the patience that all great teachers must possess when dealing with their pupils. Especially the fiery ones, to which she most certainly is that. They deserve their naps.

  9. These two are just so cute, and you seem to have captured their dialog perfectly. I think it’s wise of y’all to have gotten Tempeste while Twiggy is still young and can tango with her!

  10. Lololol!

Tempeste sure loves Twiggy. They seem to be getting along nicely. AND Tempeste is growing fast. Sh’es already got a nice sleek figure.

Twiggy, you are adorable! Remember, there’s more to Tempeste than the last part of her name.

Tell dad it’s nice to hv hime back!
