“Hey Tempeste. Leave that hose alone, and let’s get in the pool.”

“There’s water dripping out of here.”

“Not as much as in this pool.”

“It’s so hard to leave a dripping hose.”

“Okay, now that you are in, move over and let me in, too.”

“Let me get this ball first.”

“You can’t pick that one up. Your mouth isn’t big enough.”

“I’m beginning to see what you mean.”

“I wish I had a treat for every bit of advice I’ve offered.”

“It’s all appreciated too.”

“Why don’t you try this smaller ball?”

“Cause the big one looks like more fun.”

“I’ll give you that. It does look more fun.”

“Are you ever getting in?”

“A girl has to get used to the water. That takes time.”

“What am I, chopped liver?”

Otto used to love his kiddie pool. A big wind took that option away and we never replaced it. Maybe we should.

Clearly, the girls’ pools is made of sturdier stuff than the one I had as a kid. I suspect their claws would have made short work of mine. That aside, what a great idea. As hot as it’s been, it’s pool season for sure!

Thanks for sharing this, John. I’ve heard that it’s hot weather out west, so I bet the girls will really enjoy the pool. Twiggy seems to be like me. I like watching kids and grandkids playing in the pool but don’t want to get in it.

Those are two very lucky girls! Having furs short enough to enjoy pool season must make for a cooling relief from the heat and humidity. Poor Monk, with all his heavy coat, the best he can hope for is draping himself across the A/C vents inside!

Oh my she is growing fast and twiggy looks a little thinner. I so laughed.. I had a piece of fur on my screen making it look like she was peeing into the pool. He’s learn.. you always have to wait for those girls😂🤔🙀

It’s not hot where we live, but the labs still usually like going in the pool. Jake, since passed, used to lay on his side and move his legs like he was swimming.

Good to know that Twiggy finally caved in.
