It took Twiggy becoming a big sister to truly show her wisdom and seeing the two of them getting along (I’m sure not always) is a beautiful thing.

The Monk spends quite a bit of time lying on his back like Tempeste. Must feel good. I’ve heard it indicates a very relaxed dog, one who’s quite comfy in his surroundings. If so, we’ve done well, huh?!

Twiggy has the classic body for a Frenchie. Tempeste is 100% French bulldog but has a leaner build. She can be a snark once in a while.

I met a gentleman this week who has two French bulldogs. He commented that they detest the heat and stay indoors most of the summer days but love the snow. Also, they tend to be lazy during the day but get the ‘zoomies’ about 6 pm, run around for an hour, then are pooped. Does that sound right? Of course, we took out our phones and shared pictures of our dogs. ‘Proud parents’!!!

That does sound about right for Frenchies. They really don’t do well in the heat. Ours also don’t like the cold much. Ours rest and then play in between naps. Tempeste needs a night walk to poop her out.

Definitely a great spa. Here, Mother Nature is expressing regret over the super-short winter we had by giving us another round of it for several days. I got up this morning to temperatures below freezing. (Since I moved here, winter is my favorite season.) Hugs.
