A lovely thing to do. Will Lucy’s collar be there?

I’ll have the traditional latkes. My grandmother made them!

Lucy’s collar has our phone number, so we will probably find another way.

The Rainbow Bridge is such a great idea to commemorate beloved pets who have crossed over. “Over the Rainbow” pairs beautifully with the photos.

Thank you, Liz. I was going to play Old Shep by Elvis, but decided on Rainbow instead.

Yes. The idea is to put a collar of a lost pet on the bridge.

Such a splendid tradition, John (although I don’t think I ever could part with any of my dearly departed pups’ collars!). It’s nice to hear that Lakeway is so sensitive to ALL its citizens, the furry ones as well as the voting ones!

Such a wonderful thing that the community does. I wanted to share that that poem is usually credited to Unknown Author but last year I discovered that the poem was originally written in 1959 by 19-year-old Edna Clyne of Inverness, Scotland, the day after her Labrador Retriever, Major, died. My blog post about it is here https://donteatitsoap.com/2024/06/17/giving-credit/
