As one who, every year, tries to capture the hummingbirds in my front yard, kudos to these photos. Those birds are so fast! I do love ‘nothing to see here.’ Those little bandits steal my heart every time I see them. Great photos.

The bandits are cute until they get into the house under a bed. (Yeah it happened) Talk about a Tasmanian Devil.

Now that is a story waiting to be told! 🦝

Yes. One came in the cat door and stayed for a week. Ate the cat’s kibble in the kitchen. Didn’t know it was there until cleaning under the bed in the guest room. A big hiss sent us running.

Hummingbirds have to be one of the most difficult animals to get a picture of. They’re so fast.

I agree. Need a superfast camera.

The bandit is a racoon.

As I was looking through the winning photos, each one I came to I thought was the best … until the next one showed up. Deciding on an overall grand winner would be next-to-impossible! Congrats to all, and thank you, John, for showcasing them here. (I’m sorry I haven’t been around much — WordPress login problems again, sigh.)

Glad you enjoyed them, Debbie. I wish I could help with WP problems but I have some of my own that are getting no help from the Happiness Engineers

That’s okay. I suppose there are enough WP problems for all of us to share.

Those photos are absolutely amazing! I don’t know if I can pick a favorite, but the simple fact of the timing involved in catching the plane flying in front of the moon makes it unique and appealing to me. Thanks, John!
