Views of the Neighborhood – Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery – Adriana Peña – Artist

Today, we are visiting the Lakeway City Hall Art Gallery to view the fine art of artist Adriana Peña. We are catered by Siti of Austin, and our entertainment is The Foundations

Today, we have seen about half of the collection, so we’ll be back next week. Time to enjoy the food and music. I hope you have a super week.

      1. The joys of having these fur babies. I came out of the shower one day to find the insides of a throw pillow all over the living room. I thought it had snowed inside at first. I know it was Lia as Dot has never done anything like that.

  1. Your artist has captured the seasons and emotions, John. I look forward to next Sunday as well.
All the food sounded great, but I’ll have to get the pork ribs, please.

  2. Love the artwork (if it was in my limited price range). Also very impressed with the different flavoring to the barbecue. (Not what I was expecting in Texas.) You do find great places to tour., John.

      1. I’m guessing you may be part of the keep Austin weird crowd because from the very limited way I think I may know at least the blogger part of you, you seem more open to ideas than some other Texans that have appeared in TV in the past few years. I realize to even imply I have a sense of at least part of your total, is conjurative at best

  3. I love this artist – the vibrant colors are fantastic. The Reflections painting is my favorite because I love fall. Thanks for taking us along with you.

The smoked ribs make my mouth water!

  5. Had to giggle about Tempeste’s crumpling of the paper. The Monk has done the same thing. I still have a business card from the piano tuner that Monk chomped on. What is it with paper anyway??

I’m the last person to feel comfortable critiquing an artist, but I know what I like — and Ms. Pena’s brilliantly colored pieces are delightful. Such a feast for the eyes!

Adriana Peña is a wonderful artist. I especially adore her flowers. Thank you, John!
