“Wow, Twiggy. This sun feels good.”
“Um hum.”

“You taking a nap?”
“I would like to, but there is a magpie in my ear.”

“Ah, okay. I’ll let you nap in peace.”
“Really, I don’t need a nap. Where are you going?”

“I thought I heard one of those pesky jackals in the brush.”
“We haven’t seen a jackal in these parts for some time.”

“Well, it could be a cougar as well. Pesky cats anyway.”
“Coming from the mouth of a Panther.”

“That’s different. When those suckers are stalking us, it is a different matter. What are you doing there?”
“I’m finishing my yoga. This is called Up Dog.”

“Well, it looks like you are up for sure now. You feel like helping me save our lives.”
“This sounds like a segment of Naked and Afraid.”

“Hear that? Sounds like an elephant.”
“Better hope it’s not a Rhino.”

“A Rhino? I never thought of that. I think it’s time to go in.”
“Well, I’m just sayin’ I don’t know for sure.”

“I know when I’m outgunned, so slinking away is the better part of valor.”
“I don’t even know if it is a Rhino.”

“Well, even if the Rhino is imaginary, it still is scary to think about.”
“Okay, but we have to face those fears.”

“There is always tomorrow to face fears.”
“That’s fine as long as you don’t avoid them totally.”
“I think it is normal to be afraid of a Rhino.”
“That’s true, but if it is only a figment, then it must be challenged.”
“Figment?”
“In the mind.”
“The worse kind.”

Your girls are wise, John and it’s lovely to see them soaking up the sunshine. Much love to you, Mrs H, Twiggy & Tempeste. Xx ❤️

Imagination’s always more fun on a pleasant, sunny afternoon than in the middle of the night, and an imagined rhino beats a real one every time!

Hey guys…figment rhinos are the worst kind! Avoid them at all costs. Best to go back to doing more yoga to calm the mind.

It seems figment Rhinos are bigger and meaner. Thanks for the warning, Miss Monika.

Hey, Twiggy and Tempeste, maybe you could befriend it? That would keep other pesky beasts away.
