Although not lit, I thought you would enjoy this one.
A snow person family at Mary Kay Ash’s old house.
Big spread of lights.
Large tree.
This was a dignified display
A couple of houses all decked out.
A grand assortment of blow-ups.
Rudolf the big-horned cow pulling Santa’s sleigh and half a Merry Christmas sign lit up.
Speaking of horns – A University of Texas helmet as a centerpiece.
The Grinch stole Santa who stole Halloween.
Looking like icicles.
A blow-up extravaganza.
Santa riding a dinosaur. Go figure, but you have not seen strange until the next shot.
What did I say? Our favorite Halloween house is ready for the holidays.
Well that’s it for this week. Next week we will go to the Lakeway Trail of Lights. It is time for music and Food. I hope you have a great week.

Your neighborhood is getting into the season in a big way – some more than others! Since I just had a big breakfast, I think I will pass on the food. Next week…

Nothing mundane about that collection of Christmas lights. From the theme, I might have guessed these were from Texas, John. 🌹😱🤩

Love the One Long-Horned Open Sleigh.

We pass a field of long horns on one of our country roads, The only sad part is the small country store across the street that offers Long Horn Steaks, makes me think that Fred is in the freezer in the shed.

Now THIS is what a person can do to decorate when there’s not a foot of snow on the ground! Well captured, John. Enjoy the beauty while some of us hibernate indoors away from the below zero temps.

Great night view, John, with a different vibe for decorations! A bit magical even with a skeleton or two hanging around for Christmas. Fire hydrant was cute too. I’ll have the biscuits and gravy, thank you.

Call me an old fuddy duddy, but I prefer the house with the dignified exterior lights. Along the same fuddy duddy lines, I prefer the Burl Ives “Holly Jolly Christmas.”

I’m late to the party, John. We had some snow to deal with yesterday. Not much, but it messed up my reading schedule. I was hoping this would be a tour of the decorations, so I’m glad I came.

Any chance there are Biscuits & Gravy leftover? Asking for a friend.

I love Christmas lights, so this was a treat, John. I’ve also seen a few dino/Santa decorations around here. And I’m still convinced I could easily be friends with the purple house people.

I think the fire hydrant is my favorite 😉 I’m partial to lights, not so much to the blow-up … whatever they are called. When I lived in NY, we would drive around, looking at houses that had their Christmas lights up. They were so pretty against the snow … although I guess you would prefer no snow where you live 😉
