Thursday – A Little Personal – Rainy Day for Twiggy and Tempeste

“Tempeste, are you going to sleep the day away?”

“It’s raining.”

“We can still play inside.”

“But it’s so cloudy.”

“For heaven’s sake. You would think it’s Monday the way you are acting.”

“Might as well be Monday. Can’t you hear the rain?”

“All I hear is some delicious bacon being made.”

“Yeah, right. You know we don’t get bacon.”

“Well, there is always a first time.”

“Those two guard that people food like it was priceless.”

“You are right, of course. I guess we have to be content with the scent.”

“Which brings me back to asking why we need to get up?”

“I guess you are right again. Go back to your nap.”

“I want a record of that.”

“What?”

“The part where you said I was right. Twice.”

  1. It rained one whole day here the other day, and both dogs wouldn’t budge from the couch. I don’t know how they could hold it so long. They just were not getting up and going outside. They didn’t get bacon either. ⛈️

  2. Twiggy is usually right – Tempeste just hasn’t figure that out yet. We got some of that fake dog bacon for our dogs – they loved it and stopped pestering us!

Tempeste looks so mournful smelling the bacon. Give them both belly rubs for me! They make my day.

  3. I love your last photo of Tempeste’s head on her sister’s backside! You know, they’re right: a rainy day nap is the best! The Monk doesn’t cotton to the no-people-food rule either, but it’s really for their own good. And he’s doing so much better, now that he’s banned from animal crackers, ha!

  4. LOL, those two know how to luxuriate in a rainy day, John. They could give lessons.
We got a nice gentle rain earlier this week. Now for the next week, the temps are supposed to be up to 30 degrees above normal. That doesn’t bode well for summer… Big hugs.
