Thursday – A little Personal – Twiggy and Tempeste View the World II

I made a scheduling error yesterday. Rather than pull the post, I let it run for two days. Sorry for any confusion

“What’s it look like out there?”

“Sunny but cool.”

“See any deer?”

“No, they have all moved off to another place.”

They’ll be back. Then the bark-a -thon can begin.

“I’m saving my barks for the FedEx guy.”

“You might have something there. He and the Amazon drivers are due any time.”

“That’s what I was thinking. You know who we haven’t seen for a while?”

“The UPS guy. He hasn’t been around for a few days.”

“I wonder if he is okay? Maybe we did bark him to St Louis.”

Oh, I don’t think so. He has to be stronger than that.”

“You see what’s coming?”

“Oh my gosh. It’s the US postal service driver.”

“I’ve got to get a good spot by the door. This is going to be good.”

“I don’t think she is coming to the door. Looks like a normal mailbox delivery.”

“Well, I’m not taking any chances.”

“Tempeste, come back. She has already passed.”

“I can almost smell the Amazon truck. I’m staying here by the door.”

“You might have a long wait.”

“Yeah, but it will be worth it.

I have readers who know it is on Thursday, and that I normally take off Wednesday, so I thought I’d better do that. 😁

We’re a UPS family (Dad worked there), so I say bark at all the others but leave the UPS guy alone. 😊

Sending the girls belly rubs. Thanks for the smiles, John.

We will try, Miss Staci. You know what an irresistible impulse is. Poor Tempest and I are doomed. 😊

I do know it’s an irresistible urge. Lucky can’t help himself. Neither could Casey and Max.

Casey once escaped the house during a delivery (my mother-in-law didn’t realize she couldn’t open the door wide) and jumped into the USPS driver’s vehicle. He didn’t want to scare the guy; he wanted an adventure! It took a lot of cajoling to get him out of the truck and back into the house.

Sounds like a great adventure potential. At least he didn’t take off.

I am not participating in the blogosphere very much because I am travelling with family, so it is good you posted twice. Tempeste and Twiggy are so cute looking out the window. What happens outside the window is great entertainment for them.

They have the cutest little butts. Love the shot when Tempeste is looking over her shoulder to hear what Twiggy was saying. Call me crazy but I think dogs speak to one another. i do.

I agree that they talk together. Sometimes the smack gets downright annoying for one or the other, and then the ruckus begins.

They do love a delivery driver, don’t they? They really are adorable.

Love the photos of the girls looking out the window — viewed that way, the world is a great big TV set! And the Monk agrees 100 percent — waiting for a delivery person to show up (here or at the neighbors’) makes for a perfect opportunity to exercise his barker!

I love their lookout perch. They might bark, but they remind me of cats a the window, LOL.
    Another happiness filled post, John!
    Erm…unless you’re a delivery driver 🙃

Haha! John, you and the girls are in rare form today (regardless of scheduling). You slayed me with “Maybe we did bark him to St Louis.” They both look so alert and excited. Big hugs.
