I do too. Mostly pen and ink with some watercolor.

I agree. The works were under glass, which made getting photos very difficult. I used an umbrella for a few and took some angle shots for the others. Thanks, Deborah.

So cool. I like how the white backgrounds make the colored parts pop more.

That was impressive for sure. I think it was his signature style.

1 smoked turkey club, to go. Very much enjoyed the art. I felt I was down by the water, Cape Cod, maybe. The Monterey reference made me recall some time I spent at nearby Fort Ord. Beautiful environment there.

The Union of the Socialist Republic of California is a beautiful state for sure. We lived there for ten years before we escaped to Texas.

Good move. Cal is beautiful but I don’t understand how the general population keeps reelecting the leaders who keep the state on a downward spiral. It’s the same in NYS. Probably should have moved years ago. This is a beautiful state, too, but the taxes and long winters are a drag.

You are in the bluest of the blue. I can’t understand how the politics got away from the average guy.

It was, Tim. I always enjoy seeing the art in person and try to do it justice in my photographs.

If it’s about the sea, its for me! Beautiful artwork, John. I could almost hear the lapping waves and smell the salt air!

What a talented artist! I love his paintings but probably couldn’t afford to buy one! I think the Southwest Caesar salad today – need to watch the calories!

These are beautiful! Watercolor is not an easy medium to work with, especially with all the detail he has. “City Scape’ is my favorite.

This evokes a sudden and reassuring contrast, somehow, between all that is going on in the world, and the gentle brush strokes and stillness of the artist. Thank you.

I’ve always wished I could draw — how about you? The best I can come up with are stick people! Mr. Pearce seems to be quite talented. Such amazing detail. It’s true we don’t all get here with the same talents. I wonder if he ever wanted to write?!?
