Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Tempeste in the Jungle

“The Panther looks over and sees two victims. A hapless Puma or helpless chicken.”

“Brother, so the drama begins.”

The Panther decides it will be Chicken Licken for lunch.”

“Nice illiteration there, Panther.”

“The Panther decides to take her prey to the mountain top for a peaceful meal.”

“Where else is there to go? No trees in sight.”

“The Panther struggles under the weight of the huge chicken.”

“That stuffed chicken is almost weightless.”

“Finally, to the top of the mountain. The Panther checks to make sure all is secure.”

“I would not open your mouth, Miss Panther. That raging river below could sweep your prey away.”

The Panther holds the prey and tells the Puma to buzz off.”

“The Puma can’t bear to watch what happens next.”

“Arrrrg, the chicken slips from the Panther’s grasp and falls in the raging water below.”

“The Puma resists saying ‘I told you so'”

“The Puma, feeling pangs of hunger, approaches Cocoa and Doughdoe.”

“Like you would ever see those two as prey.”

“The Panther decides to forget the prey and think more about beating up the Puma.”

“The Puma thinks and then says  out loud, ‘Bring it on, Panther.'”

“How about tomorrow?”

“Deal.”

Twiggy seems not to be very amused. But indeed a great photo story. Thanks, John! Best wishes, Michael

Sometimes Twiggy gets a little annoyed with her sister. This might be one of those times. Thanks, Michael.

I have to keep a camera handy as the story develops. These two are not good at sitting still for photos. Thank you, Gwen. So glad you enjoyed it. 😀

“Pull its ears off! Pull its ears off!”, exhorted Lucy from afar. “That’s what I would do” she continued, until I reminded her that it’s not her story. “But I’m such a fan!”

Tempest would willingly pull the ears off if chickens had ears. Thanks, Steve. I can almost see Lucy in action. 😀

Good plan to put off until tomorrow what shouldn’t mare today. Nice avoidance strategy.

This put a big smile on my face, John. Makes me wonder what’s going through Bond’s mind when he’s stalking birds and insects on the patio.

At least they schedule their rumbles. Gives you time to prepare.

The Panther Chronicles are so hilarious. Twiggy is the perfect straight man. These two are so much fun, John.
