Well done, John! Every day is Memorial Day for me. I wear a bracelet engraved with the name of a shipmate who died in Beirut back in 1983. Every day I’m reminded how many of our shipmates gave everything for us.

I totally agree. I cringe when someone says Happy Memorial Day and asks about barbecues and going to the shore, without even a mention of the real meaning of the day.
