“What do you think, Twiggy. Time we do something?”
“I suppose. You know those long weekends knock me out.”

“What are you doing in the kitchen?”
“You never know what those two might drop.”

“Yeah, like what?”
“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe a bit of cheese or cracker.”

“Okay, so I ran over here, and nothing. What are you doing in the laundry room?”
“I know Mom keeps toys in here, and I thought maybe I could snatch one.”

“Yeah, that’s rich. When has she ever just left a new toy lying around?”
“There is always a first time.”

“I’m going to ask the readers if you have lost your ever-lovin’ mind.”
“Well, it is worth a chance. There is something on the dryer.”
“Hey readers
“People out there are going to laugh at you.”
“You never can be too sure. A quick look over there . . . and no toy.”

“I’m going to ask someone to call 9-1-1 in a minute.”
“Okay, so there is no toy in there. Since when have you become so responsible?”

“Well, I’m trying to demonstrate that I’m maturing.” What’s that noise?”
“Sounds like someone went outside.”

“I think you’re right. Might not be a bad Idea.”
“Well, as long as there aren’t any new toys in here, why not?”

“Sure is nice out here. We can even see the flowers.”
“Maybe growing up might mean no leaf chewing.”
“It might take more than that.”
“So in the meantime, there is the fence.”

Looking for food and toys- that’s what doggies do! The yard looks very nice.

I am not laughing I promise… it is always a bit deflating after a long weekend… and I am sure some toys will turn up soon. hugsx

These two deserve to be mocked for sure. Toys everywhere, a backyard, gourmet meals, soft beds, big couch. 😀

We all need to be needed, I guess, and the more they need us, the happier we are. A very disturbed species we are. 😀

I’m glad you posted the girls, John. It’s good to see them looking for some food that could be dropped and toys to play with.

Girls, you have to make your own luck. My daughter had a dog that would simply reach up onto the table or counter and take whatever was available. You may have to push some chairs around or stand on the others shoulders. Good hunting !!

I love Twiggy in the first photo. You know she had a lot going on in this post. And Tempeste is becoming more mature? I think she still bears watching, Twiggy.

She takes a step forward, then three back. Yesterday, she tossed her bed into a bowl of water. No reason given, but the Tsunami was a fright.

I do too. It has been a while since she has cared about crumbs and toys. Good to have her annoying self back.

The fence is playing a big role in their lives these days 🙂 Is it a seasonal thing?

Nope, it will be there until Tempeste grows up enough to stop eating leaves. Sad too because there is a whole big yard they could play in.

So much fun to get into the heads of these cute guys. Also, I’m super impressed by how clean and uncluttered your kitchen is! I can’t imagine these two critters find much that you two drop.

I love how optimistic Tempeste is. Twiggy the elder, is more realistic but her sister doesn’t want to hear it. There is always a first time she says. I agree. 🙂

She’s showing signs of maturity. Ah, but there’s the fence and stray leaves… there might be a set back or three.
The yard does look nice.

Twiggy might have been on to something! As for Tempeste maturing…I think she has a way to go. Which means more fun for us!
