  1. Wow, nothing can stop the creativity of your citizens. Awaiting the Helloween ideas. 😉 I hope you are enjoying a nice weekend, John! Best wishes, Michael

  2. Being a simple person I really liked the little red truck. The weiner dog was cute too. Do you and The Producer partake in this frivolity at your domicile ?

Great choice of appropriate music as well.

  3. I have a collection of ‘when pigs fly’ figurines. These are wonderful. Surely they wouldn’t notice if they ‘flew away’ one day…**sending my address under separate cover** 😂🐷

  4. John, another delightful cruise through the neighborhood! 📮 That lipstick-ready frog gave me a good laugh, but the horned toad and flying pigs are close seconds. Pairing these quirky neighborhood treasures with an Emmer and Rye menu and classic Marvelettes tunes makes for the perfect Sunday stroll. Thanks for always bringing a smile to our feeds!

  5. Well, that was fun! Really though, you’d think there’d be one OX topper.

Your mail thing is quite different from ours. No toppers here!

    No mailboxes like yours, either.

    Still, we have mail.

    Thanks John!

  6. I love that you guys have mailbox toppers like this. So very cool!

Like Resa said, no mailboxes like this anywhere here. Those of us who still have door-to-door delivery, have one attached to the house (mostly). All the new developments have to go to a central box.

  7. Nice to see people still have mailboxes – and toppers to decorate. Here in Toronto, personal mail delivery ended years ago, almost all streets have community mailboxes now to save the mailmen their exercise. 😁

        1. It’s a workout! I put my spikes on my boots, bundle up, grab my walking pole and go. It’s a drudgery at first but, then it’s great being out in the crisp air, seeing the white snow all over the place. and hearing the icy crunch under my feet. It can be magical…sometimes. 😊

        2. Yes, that works. Once we had a house that the snow drifted up 5 feet high to the box. One could hurt themselves trying to climb it with ice, lol. I called Canada Post to report it, and someone shovelled it. 😊
