Friday JohnKu -AKA- TGIF

Funny Friday

We finally got a little rain early this week. Not enough to offset the two months of dryness, but as they say, “Every bit helps.” The nice thing is we are expecting a little more next Monday so maybe in combination we will be okay.

The last two days have been back to their old high humidity and high heat index selves. I guess everyone talks about the weather and today’s JohnKu is no exception. I hope you like it.

Some days blazing sun,

Others unending rainstorms. . .

Never satisfied.

  1. That humidity keeps sneaking up on us. Really draining.

    1. It is. Thought to do anything when you are soaking wet.

      1. Keep hoping for a rainstorm to break the humidity. The sky continues to tease me with dark clouds and no rain.

  2. OMG! That photo is hilarious, John! A few more days of oppressive heat and humidity, but a cool front is approaching. Happy Friday!

    1. Come on cool!!!!! Happy weekend Jill. *sung to the tune of “Stay,” buy Jackson Browne.

  3. Well – I think everyone’s guilty of that one! 😀
High heat AND humidity is a killer – my worst nightmare climate in fact… 😦

    1. True enough. Thanks, Jan

  4. Fascinating that those of us way up north in Ontario have been enduring the same high heat and humidity as you in Texas!! Dry up here too – but we’ve had some rain the past 7 days. I’d rather have a drought than a flood!

    1. You should be exempt from both eh?

  5. Good thing it’s Friday, John. I don’t think the guy in the picture could have survived another day at work. Hilarious. Hope the rain reaches there soon. We had a good monsoon this year. 🙂 — Suzanne

    1. Excellent, Suzanne. I hope it comes back next week.

  6. Very true JohnKu this week. Wouldn’t it be nice once in a while to be able to dial up perfect weather for a day??

    1. That would be great

  7. You must live in Texas… 😂
    Enjoy your weekend, Butch

  8. This blog always satisfies, John.
    Well done.

You know my life reads like a fiction but it’s all absolutely true. As for weather: in high 90’s here in Sierras. I have to laugh, when it hits 75 in the Bay area they all start to fan and faint. g, mt

    1. Ha ha ha. I remember. 🙂

  10. I thought the rain, heat, and humidity would never leave, but after a huge deluge last night, a cold front has moved in and gone is all. We should have a couple more nice breezy, cool days before the heat, humidity, and yes, rain return.

    1. Enjoy them. Thanks, Michelle.
