Friday JohnKu -AKA- TGIF

Funny Friday

We finally got a little rain early this week. Not enough to offset the two months of dryness, but as they say, “Every bit helps.” The nice thing is we are expecting a little more next Monday so maybe in combination we will be okay.

The last two days have been back to their old high humidity and high heat index selves. I guess everyone talks about the weather and today’s JohnKu is no exception. I hope you like it.

Some days blazing sun,

Others unending rainstorms. . .

Never satisfied.

That humidity keeps sneaking up on us. Really draining.

It is. Thought to do anything when you are soaking wet.

Keep hoping for a rainstorm to break the humidity. The sky continues to tease me with dark clouds and no rain.

OMG! That photo is hilarious, John! A few more days of oppressive heat and humidity, but a cool front is approaching. Happy Friday!

Well – I think everyone’s guilty of that one! 😀
High heat AND humidity is a killer – my worst nightmare climate in fact… 😦

Fascinating that those of us way up north in Ontario have been enduring the same high heat and humidity as you in Texas!! Dry up here too – but we’ve had some rain the past 7 days. I’d rather have a drought than a flood!

You should be exempt from both eh?

Good thing it’s Friday, John. I don’t think the guy in the picture could have survived another day at work. Hilarious. Hope the rain reaches there soon. We had a good monsoon this year. 🙂 — Suzanne

Very true JohnKu this week. Wouldn’t it be nice once in a while to be able to dial up perfect weather for a day??

You know my life reads like a fiction but it’s all absolutely true. As for weather: in high 90’s here in Sierras. I have to laugh, when it hits 75 in the Bay area they all start to fan and faint. g, mt

I thought the rain, heat, and humidity would never leave, but after a huge deluge last night, a cold front has moved in and gone is all. We should have a couple more nice breezy, cool days before the heat, humidity, and yes, rain return.
