As the ashes of the election are being swept up I think it is time to pause and remember those who make the democratic process possible no matter how far afield it goes.
The men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice should receive our thanks, today and a prayer for their lasting peace. Those still serving and those who have served deserve our gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy. Today’s JohnKu is in honor of all who have served.

A fabulous, Johnku and so appropriate for today, John!
I only watched a few moments of the video, but how inspiring and beautiful. Watching that vid, it’s virtually impossible not to be reminded of all that our flag stands for.

As a native German, born shortly after WWII, I’ve always been and will always be grateful from the bottom of my heart to those that made it possible for me to grow up in freedom, many of them even giving their lives.
