Thursday – A Little Personal – Stella’s Lament

Stella

“Hello, John.”

“Why hello Stella. Long time no talk.”

“Do you have a minute?”

“Sure. What’s up?”

Stella

“You know I hate to complain.”

“Uh. Okay.”

“But things have gotten out of hand.”

“Let me guess. Bailey and Lucy.”

Stella

“Not so loud. I think Lucy is lying around over there.”

“So what is the issue?”

“First of all, Bailey is a saint. I have nothing to say about her.”

“Lucy?”

“Let me tell you.”

Stella

“Here I am in your office. All I want to do is cross the floor.”

“Okay, go ahead.”

“Watch.”

Stella

“See that?”

“I see you and Lucy.”

“I’ll show you again.”

Stella

“Did you see it?”

“What?”

“She looked at me.”

“That’s it?”

“Isn’t that enough? You never look at a diva. Everyone knows that.”

“I’ll talk to her.”

“You are a mensch.”

“Lucy. About looking at Stella.”

Lucy

“Boss. I love you but pfff TTT.”

If a cat can look at a king, why can’t a dog look at a cat?
Answer: depends on the dog (are you listening, Trevor?)

So true and funny! My Max (pup) is the Diva at my house and he lives in fear of my cat Suzy rubbing against him… you can see the dread all over his face when she does it 😂

Love these “Little Personal” stories….and the accompanying photos. There just might be more than one diva; the ladies rule in your household (as they should LOL). Delightful! 🙂

Ha ha ha. So true, Gwen. I’m thinking of naming this place Estrogen Manor. Thanks. 😀

I’m surprised Stella hasn’t already written her book of rules John. Maybe she’d feel better if you told her Lucy looks at her in admiration.

Funny how Bailey seems to just stay out of this.

John – I think you seriously need to consider introducing another male into your domestic environment if only to have some support on the b*tching front… 😉

Do you think that Stella thinks she was actually named Stellar…this might be the root of her narcissism… as for Lucy… I am with her… xx

Ahhh, Stella! She is the epitome of my favorite quote about felines:

A dog looks at you and says “You give me food and shelter. You must be a god.”
A cat looks at you and says. “You give me food and shelter. I must be a god.”

    It’s all in interpretation 🙂

Oh dear. This sounds just like my sis and me when we were kids traveling to grandma’s in the back seat of the car. We used to draw an imaginary line and dare each other to cross it. Poor Stella (but you’d think a diva would relish the dog’s appreciative glances, right?!)
