“Is it really Friday?”
“Looks like UPS to me.”
Friday already. Seems like this week was an eternity. It was a great Christmas touched with sadness. Makes one believe that sadness is in the world just to make sure we all know happiness when we have it. I think I’ll cling to that thought. I’ll visit it a little more in the JohnKu
On the writing front, Gwen and I have completed all the editing in our capability and now we need professional help. Our manuscript is ready to send to the editor.
This is the last Friday of 2018. I have to say this year could have been better. I don’t think I will be sad to see 2019 offer a new opportunity. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Why sadness exists?
For no other reason than . . .
To frame happiness.
That’s a lovely thought, John. Have a Happy and Successful New Year 2019! 🙂 — Suzanne

Your fine, truthful haiku reminds me of these lines from William Blake: “Joy and woe are woven fine, A clothing for the soul divine, Under every grief and pine, Runs a joy with silken twine.” Here’s to a 2019 with a little more joy woven into its fabric.

This has definitely been a week that runs oddly. Couldn’t tell what day of the week it was for most of it. Think I just wanted it to be over. Hope you have a good weekend and that 2019 treats both of us nicely.

I LOVE the Haiku, John. My mom always said if we never had rain, we wouldn’t appreciate the sunshine. She was right!

I do believe, John, that without sorrow we would not appreciate or understand joy and peace. I’m so sorry for your sorrow. We need a better year.

Perfect Johnku. You are so right … we wouldn’t know happiness if we didn’t have sadness, we wouldn’t know joy if we didn’t have grief. I say good riddance to 2018 and bring on 2019! Hugs!
