Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy the Cop.

Twiggy and Lucy

“Oh my gosh, Lucy. I can see that mess from here.”

“Mess what mess?”

“On the rug. See those black spots?”

“Uh. Where do you suppose they came from?”

“You know darned well. They came off your feet.”

“From that LaBria tar pit out back I’m thinking.”

“I’m going to save you by staging a ruckus.”

“What good is that going to do?”

“When mom sees the dirt, she will think we both did it.”

“You would do that for me?”

“Of course, you are my big sissie.”

“You are the greatest.”

“Darn they are still there.”

“What did you expect?”

“Okay, you two. Where did this dirt come from?”

“Hey, Mom. I was just getting Lucy to confess to bringing in the mess.”

“Okay, Lucy. I got you pinned. I’m going to give you to the count of three to spill the beans.”

“Twiggy. You might as well cut the act. Mom’s gone.”

“Gee. Where’d she go.”

“Probably to get the vacuum.”

“I see the sissie stuff lasted a long time.”

“Well, I have my cop reputation to uphold.”

“More like rat fink reputation.”

“Twiggy. Do you want to be a police person?”

“How did you know, Mom.”

“Just a guess. Here let me put your collar on so you’re official.”

“Here is the ever alert police fur person. Standing guard night and day. No rain, no sleet, no dead of night shall deter me in my duty.”

“Uh, Little one.”

“Yes, Lucy.”

“I think you are getting confused with the postal department.”

Light colored rugs and dogs, it’s a combination that’s bound to cause problems. I love how the pups want to please Mom and seem aware of dirt. You and the producer are great teachers. 🙂

Loved the wrestling match pics. Would a dig really become a postal worker? I thought they were natural enemies.

I think Tiggy got her mottos mixed up. She and the postal person will never get along.

I’d say that, rather than ‘constable on patrol,’ in this case ‘cop’ stands for Cutie on Patrol.

Haha! This was great, John. I think Twiggy should stick with being a cop (whatever the motto might be) in stead of the Post Office. The mailman here went on a fine rant when I first moved in, and was getting a lot of packages (that went to him instead of UPS). I kept my mouth shut about him “going postal.” 😀

Definite camp. * while pledging allegiance to the queen with his sword in the air the knight accidentally severs the main cord which brings down the candle chandeliers. All the kings horses and all the kings men have to rebuild the castle again.

😀 Throw in a zombie &/or a werewolf and you have a network hit!
Don Adams (Get Smart) as the king, Barbara Eden as the queen (with sketchy ties to Merlin), and Ruth Buzzi as the witch who narrowly avoided being burned at the stake, but thanks to sir knight there is nothing left to make the fire. Now she pledges her life as his squire.

If you’ve had as much rain as we have, John, I can see where Twiggy and Lucy would bring in half the backyard! You know, snowballs clinging to Dallas’s fur is a huge problem during winter months, but this mud and an abundance of grass clippings keep me hopping right now. Hang in there!
