Thursday – A Little Personal – Lucy and Twiggy

“I suppose we ought to be quiet and not wake the pups.”

“They get enough naps. You don’t have to be quiet.”

“Whoa, what was that Lucy?”

“Mom and the Boss passing through.”

“Looks like rise and shine time, Lucy.”

“Hmmm.”

“Time to get up and play with me.”

“Five minutes more Little One.”

“Come on. We have things to do.”

“Things? What kind of things. We’re dogs, remember?”

“Where did you go, Kiddo?”

“I’m over here by the toy basket.”

“I’m hunting for the perfect toy for us to play with together.”

“Just can’t wait.”

“I can’t find what I’m looking for. Is it on the couch?”

“Jump up there and see.”

“Here’s Dad. Can you see if Octopus is on the couch.”

“I passed Octopus in the hall.”

“Could you go get it?”

“Um. Are your feet okay?”

“I get it, Dad. I’m going. Geez, I have to do everything.”

Ha-ha-ha! The French fries made them exhausted! I’m glad to learn that Mr. Octopus has returned from his vacations 🙂 The hedgehog’s countenance is amazing too!

I looked at the first two photos and thought, “What? Did they eat all the french fries?” I’m glad to see they’re still around. It would be a shame for this pair to be short on toys!

Hahaha. Yes, the fries are still here. We actually have a toy reserve in case these toys become too boring. Thanks, Linda.

I love it when they dump the toy basket and sift through for just the right things. Twiggy is so cute, and I think you nailed the dialog, John. The toy Maddie wants is always under the couch.

Yes, we have the couch situation as well. Twiggy simply barks until we get it. (Even though she has plenty of room to get it herself)

Aw, Dallas has an octopus, too — name’s Inky. Twiggy would probably feel right at home here, comparing her toy bin with Dallas’s. We’re certainly keeping the pet toy market afloat, aren’t we, John?

I used to have one that would put his toys in the basket when told. The knuckleheads I have now don’t have much to put away. We have to watch Frankie like a hawk with toys. It’s so cute how they develop a favorite one.

    A pup’s work is never done. 😀
When I moved, I put all of Crystal’s bouncy balls, jingle balls, plastic rings, and corn husks into a gallon Ziploc bag. (Okay, there was a second package for more toys.) Anyhow a friend with 3 cats saw the bag and commented on how many toys Crystal has. Next time I’ll reference Twiggy’s basket. LOL. Great big hug!
