Since the waterfall is a place I visit often and the photographer did a great job in catching the falling water, it is my favorite.

Great bunch of images, John. It would be hard to pick an overall winner.

Yes, it would. I like the waterfall myself. I visit the place often, so maybe that is the reason.

They were all beautiful and deserved to win a prize, but Flag Duty (of course) and Sky Burst both got a ‘Whoa!’ out of me.

Another great Sunday post, John, and I loved every single one of the photos. My favorite is the gorgeous picture of the Carolina wren, one of my favorite yard birds. (Such a fantastic song!) I’d go with the waterfall second, because … PRETTY!! And I have a special place for waterfalls in my heart. They all seem magical.
I’m very happy to see none of this was damaged by the recent tornados. (My thoughts and prayers go out to those who were in the paths of those.) Thanks so much for sharing, and have a great Father’s Day! 😊

The Carolina Wren is my favorite, too! (Luke comes in a very close second.)

For such a tiny bird, they have the loudest song of all, and such a cheery, happy sounding one, too. They come to my feeder, as well, even though they are primarily insect eaters. I do love them! 😁❤️

Great photos. I think I like Fall Hurst Creek the best. It’s early, so I’ll go with a breakfast croissant sandwich.

That creek has a bunch of great photo opportunities. Good choice on the sandwich

I like this event. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of national pride left, but community pride is still available. I used to take a lot of photos, but when they abandoned film I was left with a bunch of expensive paperweights.
