I feel sad that Twiggy can’t play outside. It’s hot here too in New York, but know it’s doubly hot there. I love the picture with all her toys. Mr. Eel produced a big grin, and of course Bee Mine is a favorite of mine.

They don’t call these “dog days” for nothing, Miss Twiggy. I can see you’re bored with your toys. When Monk gets that way, I hide a few of them so when I bring them back out, they’re new and interesting. Cheaper than going to Petsmart or Chewy once a week!

That’s the way it goes. Outside in the heat, one feels ready for a nap, but once inside and cooler the urge to play returns. I think you’ll keep her happy with occasional help from Mom.

Have you ever considered a play date for her? One of my friends takes her dog once a week for a couple of hours — the place they go has everything from an air conditioned space to a swimming pool for the doggies!

Twiggy doe not get along with other dogs. She is a product of the lockdown and just can’t bring herself to play.

That’s really sad. There are children who suffer the same effects. If there are school mask mandates and/or closures coming, I’m going to be one down at the school board meeting making a fool of myself.
