I wish Twiggy had been around to give Dixie Rose some lessons about how to behave at the vet. I’m sure glad she got a good report — complete recovery will come close to being a Christmas gift!

We feel the same, Linda. As far as behavior, she barked everyone in the waiting room to St. Louis. The Producer took her out for a long stroll. Once with the tech, she is fine. Thanks.

Not only is she recovering, her spirits are good. Does she bark at FedEx/UPS etc when in the car?

Not so much. She lets out a woof if she can see something strange but nothing like defending the home.

I’ve never seen a dog that eager to go to the vet! Twiggy got in some great one-liners today. I’m glad she’s healing well from her surgery.

You can’t tell by the photo but we took the legs off the sofas and put in wedges so there would be no jumping. The stroller is for her walks which she hasn’t been able to do. She loves it. The car seat is a must. She would be all over the place without it.. Yeah, we go to any end for her.

You are such careful parents (and you know your four-legged kid). I bet she loves the stroller! And it’s best to have a car seat, especially for one (unlike Zeke who would just lay down across the seat or trunk – since it’s open 🙂

Love the vet photos. Twiggy would have been such a hit on one of those Bob Hope USO Tours. I could hear the applause. And she’s built like Marilyn Monro, just a little shorter, so, can you imagine.?

The Thin Man series is one of my favorites. She is doing so well, Susannah that we are very pleased and grateful. I think Twiggy thinks she is Marilyn in certain circumstances. She does know how to please an audience. She is rehearsing a happy birthday song for some reason. 😁

So far, so good! This was a big check-up. Twiggy, you did well, even having to ride in the stroller. The no running and pulling on the leash stuff will be hard, but you can count on Dad.
