It makes life so much easier when the two dogs get on, doesn’t it? It’s nice to see Tempeste (how long before you shorten it and start calling her Tempy?) settling in so well – unless it’s all down to judicious selection of images.

These two have their moments. This series was caught and not edited. Other times Twiggy gives a warning to go find someone else to annoy. Not sure about the nickname. So far she has deserved the full name in discipline.

I know what you mean, John, but I’m sure they’ll settle down to each other and not emulate Trevor’s relationships with both Ulysse and Eos. That was 40% peaceful coexistence (“if you ignore me, I’ll ignore you”) and 60% “come too close to me and, at best, you’ll live to regret it!”

Still working on boundaries. Tempeste has the desire to use her puppy teeth which Twiggy doesn’t tolerate too well. Other than that all is okay.

I wonder if Twiggy can remember how patient Lucy was with her. Older siblings certainly have a lot of responsibility. Teaching, tolerating… I love the new addition to the family and will certainly enjoy watching the girls settle into their new roles. Sending them both belly rubs.

I don’t think Twiggy remembers since she is not as patient as Lucy. Tempeste is every bit as annoying as Twiggy was as a puppy. They are working it out though. They do appreciate the belly rubs. Thank you, Staci.

At this stage there are times when we need to spell Twiggy. Tempeste is full of energy and has those sharp puppy teeth which can be trying. So far so good though.

Twiggy is a good teacher – she learned a lot from Lucy. I’m SO happy to see them hanging out together, but Twiggy has developed patience with Tempeste climbing all over her! Keep the photos coming – I love Tempeste already!

She was very patient. As long as Tempest doesn’t bite everything is okay. If we see that pattern beginning we pick Tempeste up.

Ooof…the indignities of being a big sis. If it’s any consolation, this too shall pass, dear Twiggy. Hopefully sooner than later. But I have to admit, it was adorably cute watching Tempeste trying to imitate the Flying Wallendas across Twiggy’s head. Talk about an adorable balancing act!

This was so cute. She is tiny next to her big Sister, but I’ll bet before you know it she”ll be an athlete too, doing relays around the yard. Love the whole fridge scenario, Twiggy is warming up, pun intended. 🙂

Grasshopper has many lessons to learn. It’s a great thing she has such a wise and understanding teacher to show her the ropes. Not to mention that comfy warm breeze that emanates from the bottom of the fridge.
