Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Tempest on the Hunt

“Well, it is hunting day, Ms Panther.”

“Yeah, so you told me yesterday.”

“I’ll finish my Yogi with a down dog, and we’ll be ready to go.”

“There is something in the pantry.”

“Pay attention ’cause I’m going to demonstrate on Pink Bunny.”

“You aren’t going to hurt Pink Bunny, are you?”

“Of course not. Now, come closer and watch the technique.”

“Technique? Technique of what?”

“The kill, of course.”

“Wait a minute, you said you wouldn’t hurt Pink Bunny.”

“My technique is so good she’ll not feel a thing.”

“Hold on. Pink Bunny is a good friend of mine.”

“That’s why the kill will be painless and quick.”

“No way. There will be no killing of Pink Bunny today.”

“Come on. The puma is a natural-born killer.”

“The panther says to go pick on someone your own size.”

“Fine. Pink Bunny lives to see another day.”

“Maybe we could have a lesson on a different toy.”

“How about Honey Bee?”

“Another pal. Think of someone else.”

“Fish?”

“Let me think it over.”

“Some killer panther you are.”

I have been working in business for over forty years and now have the time to work in special areas of interest. My passion has always been to create compelling stories of fiction. I have authored six novels and am working on my Seventh. The first novel is still in manuscript form and being utilized as a door stop in the laundry room.   3. Hahah thankfully there will be no killing of pink bunny…today, that is! 😁 Lol. They are too cute and mischievous. Remind me a bit of my Boston terrier who is also a rascal. 🤣

  23. Aw, I’m glad pink bunny lives to see another day. Part of me hurts when I see how the Monk blinds one stuffed animal, chews off the ears or leg of another, and in general, wreaks havoc. I’m having more luck keeping him in Kongs!

    1. The story develops while they are playing in rough form. Then when I see the photos the dialogue solidifies. There are nuances of expression that come out in the photos that I don’t see while taking the photos. Thanks for the interest, Michele. 😊
