Kids have it good now in some ways. They don’t have much freedom though

A wonderful playground. If only 60 years younger 😂
The water feature looks like a map of the lower half of Australia. Any way, who takes a mallet to a playground?

The mallets are attached to the sound vehicles. Doesn’t matter how old. You could still have fun.

Beautifuliest! 🙂 That`s a great area for recreation, also for the younger ones as for the oldies. I hope dogs are also allowed. Best wishes, and enjoy a nice Sunday, John! xx Michael

Dogs are not allowed, but it is okay. There is a dog park nearby.

I love this play-scape! My kids/grandkids would have loved it. I’m a big Rod Stewart fan and this is one of my favourite tunes of his.

My grandkids would LOVE this place – so would I. I still enjoy swinging! How wonderful that the city has this!

As for food, I am becoming southern, so it would be the shrimp and grits!

One of the swings has a place for a child, and opposite the child is a place for the adult, complete with a holder for a phone, allowing photos to be taken of the child.

The playground looks like a fun place for children and adults. I see that the planners were smart and put up shades and put down light-colored ground. Here in Tallahassee, several years ago, they constructed a playground at a local park and laid down a BLACK ground cover of chewed up tires. It wasn’t long before parents complained of their kids getting burned when they fell on the ground.

Yeah, black stuff doesn’t work well here either.

It’s nice that the producer took you to the playground. I can’t fathom giving a bunch of kids mallets and turning them loose.

I’ll say. I remember our grade school playground was crushed stone. It was good for diagramming football plays, but not for knees.

I so enjoyed studying the Playscape. Our school is getting ready to upgrade our playground, but we’re still at the ‘collecting ideas’ stage. Yours is really wonderful! My only surprise is water. That would be a big no-no here. Thank you, John.

Yeah, we have a lot of water features around town. It is so cute cause the plants and animals in the water are all plastic..

It is cute. Up here, in any playground, water would be a a drowning hazard.

Yes, I can imagine. Here, it is assumed the parents have a watchful eye. If not, the water is two inches deep.

Wow, teeter-totters have really evolved over time, haven’t they? Who knew! I’m surprised y’all had the playscape to yourselves for the photos — I’d have thought it would be a madhouse of kiddos! It’s the water feature, though, that I’m especially impressed by — such a thoughtful addition.

It looks like a lot of fun can be had there, John. You didn’t say how the Producer got down…through the slide?

I’ll try the smoked ham, sunny-side egg, gruyere. I’m a bit late, but they can toss it on a roll.

What a fun and clever new playground…for young and old alike. I think Rod said it well in that video-a beautifully sentimental and heartfelt tribute to his own children.

That’s a very nice playscape, John. Thanks for the tour. I went down a couple of rabbit holes looking up the Matcha Soft Serve. That sounds delicious! I’d be happy to have that for breakfast. The Rod Stewart song is the perfect touch (or palate cleanser). 🙂 Have a brilliant new week. Hugs.
