  1. 1 smoked turkey club, to go. Very much enjoyed the art. I felt I was down by the water, Cape Cod, maybe. The Monterey reference made me recall some time I spent at nearby Fort Ord. Beautiful environment there.

      1. Good move. Cal is beautiful but I don’t understand how the general population keeps reelecting the leaders who keep the state on a downward spiral. It’s the same in NYS. Probably should have moved years ago. This is a beautiful state, too, but the taxes and long winters are a drag.

  2. This evokes a sudden and reassuring contrast, somehow, between all that is going on in the world, and the gentle brush strokes and stillness of the artist. Thank you.

  3. Mr. Pearce is so utterly talented, I could picture myself there. I love ’em!
Now – it’s been ages since I’ve had a patty melt – that would be great about now.

  4. I’ve always wished I could draw — how about you? The best I can come up with are stick people! Mr. Pearce seems to be quite talented. Such amazing detail. It’s true we don’t all get here with the same talents. I wonder if he ever wanted to write?!?

      1. Hey, John! I love club sandwiches but they are of a different generation. Nobody wants a triple decker sandwich anymore. When I see avocado or smoked turkey in the title I know it’s a club in name only. I have fallen prey to the deception too many times. Where is the respect for the old ways? Where are the toothpicks that hold it all together? All gone. But really, John, I should have just said, “Beautiful art” because it is, but I had to mention the club. I couldn’t help myself.

  5. These are all wonderful. I usually try and pick out a favorite but man, not this time, I just can’t! A great gallery tour Boss.

PS- Twitter isn’t working for me. Maybe they forgot me!
