Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Tempeste Deal with Exhaustion

“Twiggy. I’m exhausted.”

“What’s the matter?”

“Mom took me to Lowe’s, and I’m worn out.”

“Oh, poor you. You’ve got to go to Lowe’s.”

“I know. All those people adoring me and the treats.”

“Yes, the horror.”

“I’m starting to recover.”

“Oh, I would take the rest of the day. One can’t be too careful.”

“You might be right. I should take it easy.”

“Don’t want you pulling something or getting sick.”

“A good shake and I’m as good as new.”

“I think Dad caught you on that shake. Pretty funny.”

“Dad, did you take a photo of me shaking?”

“He’s not going to answer you and break the fourth wall.”

“Maybe mom can tell me.”

“Sorry, kiddo. You are on your own.”

“Where are you going?”

“I’m just going to do my yoga.”

“Now that you mention it. I should do mine, too.”

“I wouldn’t rush into anything. Remember what a trying day you’ve had.”

“I think you are right. Maybe I’ll find a cool spot.”

“There you go. Catch your breath.”

“This tile fits the bill. Thanks for the suggestion.”

“Anytime, little one. We don’t want you to overdo it for sure.”

“Are you being facetious?”

“Who me? Not at all. I just want to make sure your highness is comfortable.”

  1. I love Twiggy’s droll comeback. Only someone as young as Tempeste would complain about all the attention. If she wasn’t French, I might mistake her for Jennifer Lopez who runs around half naked then complains when you look at her. But it’s safe to say, her sister will keep her in line. The pictures as always, are show stoppers. 🙂

  2. I so love it when Twiggy is sarcastic and Tempeste doesn’t catch on. So funny.

Sending the girls belly rubs. Thanks for the smiles, John. (Stay safe, if I’m correct in thinking you’re in a nasty weather pattern. Well, stay safe regardless. You know what I mean…)

  3. Oh my, they both deserve a cuddle or two. 🌞 I’m postponing my Lowes visit because the temps keep jumping/falling unpredictably. Great dialogue, John.

      1. Tempeste, I absolutely do understand your pain, but in the words of my father, “This dog won’t hunt.” I know Twiggy is smiling. Tempeste, you need to be an Aqua Roomer. 🙂

  4. So, how come only Tempeste got to go, Twiggy?

Maybe you get to go next time?

Anyway, I’d like to see dad break the 4th wall. Does he often break walls? Seems like a strange activity, but I suppose someone has to do it.

      1. Ah, we don’t have Lowes, but I feel the same about big stores and lots of people.
        I live by village shopping.
You might like it there. A cozy area with lots of dogs out walking their people. OX
