“I’m tired of playing with Chicken Licken,’ Twiggy.”
“Don’t see why it’s only been an hour.”

“I suspect a little dark sarcasm in the classroom.”
“Maybe just a little. Come on down and get another toy.”

“I’m going to do Hot Dog. What about you?”
“I have a hold of Coco/DoughDough.”

You going to play with that, or do you want to try and take Hot Dog away?”
“Since the day is young, I’m going to stay with Coco/DoughDough.”

“Okay then. You don’t know what you are missing.”
“Oh, I think I do. Several minutes of running around followed by lying flat on the floor to get cool.”

“It’s not my fault you can’t catch me. Panthers are very quick.”
“So are pumas, but this one has a few years on ya.”

“Ha ha ha. Great excuse…….Oh no. There goes Hot Dog into the river.”
“You should never talk with your mouth full.”

‘What should I do?
“For heaven’s sake. Just go down the stairs and get it.”

“It’s an emergency. I have to dive for it.”
“Nooo. Don’t jump. Mom will kill you.”

“Ah, saved Hot Dog from a watery grave.”
“Who’s going to save you from the same fate?”

“It was one of those ask for forgiveness and not permission moments.”
“I don’t think Mom saw you, so I think you got away with it.”
“So all’s well that ends well.”
“This time. You’d better stop that couch jumping, or you’ll end up in the ER.”
“Yes, Boss.”

They remin me of me and my sister, we can’t agree on anything either!

What a great couple. They really don`t want to get outdoors? Our cat has got a GPS-collar now. In the past we couldn`t find him over weeks. hugsx Michael

Goodness. If a cat was gone for weeks here, it meant a coyote had a feast. Thanks, Michael.

They certainly have a wonderful range of toys to play with John… I bought our cat a couple of small stuffed mice and on first sight he ran a mile…hugsxx

Clearly, that leap into the river was the high point of the afternoon. Better watch her. Like someone finally making their first leap off a high diving board, fear may give way to sheer enjoyment!

She loves to jump off, and we have to remind her to use the stairs. Twiggy always uses them, but I think two surgeries have taught her a lesson in caution. Thanks, Linda.

Such imagination between these two. Who would have thought that the hog dog would fall into a river?! Does Tempeste still try to jump–you know, to save the hot dog?

She seldom jumps. That was an oddity. 😀

Tempeste is living on the edge – teenagers think they are invincible, don’t they?
Looks like a busy toy day!

Yes, teens do. It’s quite typical. They will choose one and let the other ones ride. Thanks, Dale 😊

Yeah. Those hard surface floors make for worse splats, too. Their legs splay and sometimes it does damage.

Twiggy’s the voice of reason! The girls have a ton of toys and it’s nice to see they actually play with them. Garfield and Samantha play with new toys for a day or so and then they’re relegated to just being scattered around the house!
They sound just like sisters! I didn’t know Tempeste was not allowed to jump?

They have so many toys, but I know those jumps can be concerning. Raven, my cat (who is now 10) jumps from the top of an armoire. I’m always on the lookout so I can help her down instead. What we don’t do for our pets, LOL!

French bulldogs are prone to pulling ligaments in their hind legs and to spine damage. The more we can keep them from jumping, the less risk for injury. 😊
