“Who is it?”

“Come and see for yourself.”

“Well, look at that. It’s Hello Kitty.”

“Yes. Dad just dropped her here.”

“Hmmm. Not sure playing with a kitty is a good thing.”

“Oh, come on. It’s just a stuffed toy.”

“What makes you think it’s not haunted or something?”

“My experience tells me it’s just something you can try and tear apart.”

“That is something I do well.”

“Well, why don’t you get to it?”

“I have a funny feeling about this one.”

“So how long are you going to ignore Hello Kitty?”

“Till I’m sure there is no funny business connected with it.”

“Whoa. It just moved.”

“You are just trying to scare me.”

“I’m not kidding. Look, it’s over by me now.”

“I’m hearing Twilight Zone music now. How did that happen?”

“Okay, Dad moved it.”

“Why did you do that, Dad?”

“I thought you would go after it.”

“Not only did you break the fourth wall, but you also overestimated my desire to play with something named Hello Kitty.”

    Guess Tempeste took some time to decide to play with it. She’s got her own mind, that one!

  23. Oops…sounds like Dad committed a terrible faux pax in realizing what kind of toys a destroyer, erm…I mean a toy loving pup might enjoy. My Mum does the same thing…she still can’t believe there aren’t suitable toys for me but I’m much to highbrow to engage with inanimate toys. What in the dawg is she thinking?!

    1. My first thought is, how can I tear that thing apart? I have to plan my approach, which others might interpret as reluctance. I finally gave that Kitty a run for its life. I didn’t make a hole, but sure shut up that annoying squeaker. Thanks for the support, Wilson. Oh, and let’s keep the tearing apart info to ourselves. 😀 Regards, Tempeste.

  34. LOL! This was priceless, John—especially with Twiggy huddled in her bed in the back. It will be interesting to see if Hello Kitty eventually wins over the girls. In the meantime, I can’t help chuckling over their skepticism. 🤣

    Gee, when It moved I thought it was VooDoo.

    Then I realized, that only happens on Saturday.

    Whew! Now, if it had moved on a Saturday, I would have suggested a pups to dad talk about the whole thing.
