“I don’t have an obsessive jealousy. It’s just, I think these guys have the potential to take over the yard.”
“A cute little fawn like that one is going to take over?”
“It grows up. Sometimes it turns into a big ole buck.”
“Well, they are leaving.”
“They will be back. Trust me.”
“You going to wait here for them?”
“I just might.”
“How long are you going to wait?”
“We have all day.”
“What do you mean, ‘We?'”
“Okay then. I have all day.”

We don’t see any deer here, only squirrels and rabbits, so I’m not sure what my girls would do if they saw one. I know the squirrels and rabbits stear clear. Happy Dog Day!!

Love the deer, and the fawn is so cute. But I can see that the girls might get jealous. At least they didn’t bark them to St. Louis. You’d have to throw them in the soundproof room! Do they play with that deer antler?

Tempest likes to chew on the antler. We found it in the woods. Was shed by a buck. They don’t bark at the dear unless they get too close to the window.

I do enjoy seeing how close the deer get to your residence, girls. After having a summer without deer sightings, a group of nine have made an appearance in a nearby field in recent days. They seem to be doing well. Parents and kids munching away on the greenery, and nearby passers-by just fawn all over them.🦌

Our visitors are the same every day. Mom has names for them, and I can tell you it is disgusting to see her fawn over them too, Mr Bruce.

I can see each of their respective opinions. Twiggy figures those carrots are cutting into the food and treats budget, I get it. And Tempeste is like, life’s too short and my attention span as far as this goes is even shorter so I’m outta here.

Lots of deer in our neighborhood too. We live near the woods and they wander into our yard, eat a few plants, and even sit a spell.

I thought they’d jealous of the deer getting carrots. Our dogs loved carrots. Dedicated watch dogs are hard to find. I think the girls deserve a treat.
