Friday JohnKu – AKA – TGIF

a home

Looks like we made it to Friday. I think we should take a moment and give ourselves a pat on the back. Ready, set pat, pat, pat. There how good does that feel? We should remember that we still have an eight hour or so day away from the magic of Friday night (weekend eve).

This week has been a long one. I was busy all weekend with a conference and it just seems like work after a while. (Duh. You are a writer attending a writer’s conference). It seems nice to have a weekend home and I’m looking forward to it. This week’s JohnKu reflects on home. I hope you like it.

    1. Thank you, Teagan. See you tomorrow.

  3. Happy Friday. Though I missed my back and knocked a lamp over. Eh, pretty sure the thing had it coming.

    1. Good thing there were no innocent victims.

  4. Long work weeks in the summer are longer than at other times. Liking the JouhKu today.

  5. Being around a lot of people over an extended period of time always zaps the life out of me. Home is a good place to be. Hope you had a great time at the conference πŸ™‚

    1. I did. Thank you Jill

  6. Great week, John! Sounds like you learned a lot at the conference. I would say “Now get some rest and chill out” but being an author myself, I know your mind is probably reeling with too many ideas to rest. So, happy writing! πŸ™‚

    1. Yeah I’ve already edited my opening on the second book.

  7. Nailed it, John!! Happy Friday — rest well and enjoy the peace!

  8. Hope the writers conference went well John. It is unfortunate that you have another 8 hours or so until the start of the weekend. Ours is about to begin. Going to watch Mission Impossible 5 this evening. I’ve barely left the house this week. Enjoy the margarita and the weekend at home.

    1. Thanks Guy. Have a great weekend as well.

  9. I love Fridays, but then there is no day of the week I don’t like. Coming home after a busy week is a reward in itself.

    1. Yes it’s true.

  10. I imagine the conference was thumbs up … cheers to you for embracing continuous improvement. … welcome home.

    1. It was absolutely perfect. Thanks.

  11. Welcome home, John. After reading your goals, you have reason to rest. You’re going to need that energy soon. πŸ™‚ Have a great weekend and enjoy a margarita or two (or three…).
