Thursday – A Little Personal – Lucy Visit

“Hi, Boss.”

“Hi, Lucy. What do you want.”

“I was thinking about this post.”

“Everyone’s going to believe that one, but okay what were you thinking?”

“The title is ‘A Little Personal’ right?”

“Yes, it is.”

“And mostly when you are doing animals you are putting pictures of those stupid seagulls, herons, pelicans, and what not.”

“Stupid is a harsh word but yes.”

“What is wrong with puttingΒ pictures of Bailey, Stella, and me?”

“There is nothing wrong. Here let me put up a shot of bailey.

“What about Stella?”

“Here is one of Stella. You know how hard she is to capture on film right?”

“Yeah but run it anyway.”

“Okay here it is”

“Now how about some action shots. You know some video of Baily and I doing a ruckus in the yard.”

“You are kidding me, right? Here is an action shot of you two.”

Lucy na d Bailey

“Aw come on. We have others”

“Hmmm let me look. Oh here is one.”

Lucy and Bailey

“You ran that one before.”

“For heaven’s sake. Try this one.”

Lucy and Bailey

“Now we are backsliding. Any more of Stella?”

“Here’s one.”

“I think I’m going to give up.”

“Well, you did manage to get some exposure. I’m sure everyone thought you were precious.”

“Come closer and say I’m precious.”

“Time to sign off. Say goodbye, Lucy.”

“Goodbye Lucy.”

  1. Drama queen!
Nice pictures, John, and good dialogue.

    1. Drama Queen for sure. Thanks, Keith.

  2. Gwen Plano · ·

Loved it! Lucy and Bailey’s expressions are “priceless.” And, sweet Stella makes the trio a family. Thanks for the sharing…. πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks, Gwen. They are family. πŸ™‚

  3. *Now* I’m having a thriving Thursday! Love this post, John. All beautiful, but I didn’t realize Stella was so gorgeous. BTW I’m rerunning last year’s Get Caught Reading series, and Lucy is part of it. Mega hugs.

    1. She will love that for sure, Teagan. Have a Terrific Thursday. Hugs. πŸ˜€

  4. Great photos, John! I love the last photo of Lucy. She looks so over it. πŸ™‚

    1. She has some priceless expressions. Sometimes hard to capture. Thanks, Jill.

  5. Excellent post and pictures. Such happy animals.

    1. We do try to keep them that way. Thanks, Charles. πŸ™‚

      1. You’re welcome. πŸ™‚

  6. Thanks for the family treat, John! Great dialog and photos – I’m still chuckling!

    1. Lucy makes me laugh all the time. Thanks, John

      1. I can see why that’s true! Great idea – hope to see more in future posts.

  7. All the pictures are precious but the conversation is perfect!!

    1. Thanks, GP. I’m so glad you liked it. πŸ™‚

  8. Awwwww, Lucy is precious. Who’s a good dog, Lucy? Who’s a good dog? Yeah. you’re a good dog!!!

    1. Ha ha ha. Thanks, Dan

  9. Brilliant!

    1. Aw. Thanks, Pam. πŸ˜€

  10. So cute! Always a treat to stop by, John. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, Natalie. Always love to have a visit from you.

  11. Definitely precious. I especially like the first action shot. Just like my guys (unless they’re putting their faces in the camera).

    1. The secret with these tow is to stay off the floor or ground. Once you go there they assume you are a boxer too.

  12. Yep – precious! And Stella is adorable.

    1. Thank you, Teri.

  13. All three are stars! Boy, that Lucy knows how to get things done too πŸ™‚
    Loved this post, John!

    1. Yes. She has us under control. Always. Thanks, Mae.

  14. Adorable! Lucy is definitely the boss!

    1. She is. Thanks, Jan

  15. Fictionophile · ·

Charming menagerie. You are very lucky!

    1. I count my blessings every day, Lynne. Thank you for the visit. πŸ™‚

  16. Love that third action shot. It’s so true of most dogs.

    1. It is so true. πŸ˜€

  17. Nothing like giving the pets a chance to take center stage, John! They’re just too doggone cute, even though they take a LOT of time (particularly the long-haired ones, ha!) ‘Tis nice seeing your clean floor though — if you ever wish you had furs there (and on your sofa), just say the word and Dallas will share!!

    1. We have plenty. Stella alone requires the floors be swept every day. The other two contribute a lot too. Dallas would feel right at home.

  18. They’re adorable and so serious! Well, apart from Bailey who’s stomach I would scratch any day. πŸ™‚

    1. Bailey can be a cut up. Lucy is the serious one.

  19. Aw, they ARE precious pups and the kitty is sweet. Love this one, John. I think you just had fun with it.

    1. Thank you, Jo. It was fun. I love my fur kids.

    1. Good deal then. πŸ™‚
