“Do you realize we have a full episode today?”
“Did Dad get his Mac back?”
“No, he is still without the Mac. They had no parts to repair it, so he told them to send it back.”
“So why is there a full episode?”
“He figured out how to get photos on the site from his Dell laptop. The photos aren’t as good but better than nothing. I thought I heard something.”
“For an old guy like him, that’s something. I hear he’s back from his break.”
“Yup, he is back with a vengeance. Man, this is something.”
“What are you finding over there?”
“Hard to say. Seems different, though.”
“Hold on, I’m coming. I don’t want to miss a thing.”
“You can have whatever it is. I’m going to the patio.”
“I think you may be losing it. There is nothing here.”
“There was something there. Did you lose it?”
“Seriously, Lucy. I couldn’t find a thing.”
“For heaven’s sake. I track down a perfectly good puma, and you let it get away.”
“Puma? You’re kidding, of course. I don’t see a puma anywhere.”
“I would say it’s too bad cause now it’s gone.”
“I’m going to tell dad you are teasing me.”
“I would do that. On top of the fact he has no Mac, I’m sure he’ll appreciate you whining about a missing puma.”
“Maybe I’ll just lay on the porch.”
“Good choice. I’ll join you.”
I think Iβd let the puma go too! Lols. Hope you had a good time , John, and that your Mac gets sorted soon. Hugs ππ

Thank you, Harmony. It came in last night. Since they couldn’t repair it, I’ll have to go through this all over again. At last I have my most productive tool back. π

Welcome back, John. I hope you had a good trip. Sorry about your Mac. I’ve toyed with the idea of switching over, and even flirted with Linux a couple of times, but always come back to the environment I know and understand.

I sure get that, Keith. I was an old fart when I switched so there is that. Had a very good trip. Thank you for the welcome. π

Thank you, Dale. It was the best. The Producer stayed behind with Lucy and Twiggy. They do not do well with being in a kennel. Lucy gets way too upset and she is too old to be put through that. Good to be back too.

Good point ot the Puma. It seems that there is a worldwide shortage on batteries (made in China) so that is that. My point with Apple is they should have had some kind of process in place to advise the stores of that condition and rater than take in repairs for batteries there could be some kind of notification system. They greed so we’ll see where that goes.

Havenβt heard about the battery shortage. Seems weβre running out of everything these days. They definitely should have had a process. Is there a third party place?

Okay, first my obligatory βwelcome back.β
Glad to hear it was a nice trip.
Question: who is the Producer? Iβm not up on that one.
How to fix your Mac. Turn it off and turn it back on. If that doesnβt work, turn it off.
Maybe a new one?
I have both. My kids insisted on a Mac Mini. It is really strong and as powerful as my Del PC. I prefer the PC
Oh well, glad your back
PS. Nice pictures

The Producer is my precious spouse. I was glad I had the Dell but I hate it. The Mac is still not fixed but it is with me so that is all that counts. Thanks for the welcome back, Tom.

Welcome home, John. I’m hoping stories and photos will be shared soon. π©βπ From the sounds of today’s post, Lucy and Twiggy survived your absence and are respectful of your Mac challenges. Enjoy the comforts of home and know you and Fiction Favorites were missed. π

Aw thank you for saying I was missed, Gwen. There won’t be any pictures or stories. I totally dropped out and didn’t even think of the blog for a week. Felt good. All the photo’s I took were of the family activities and are personal treasures. π

Oh, those missing pumas! They’re so devious. Glad you have found a way to fix the Mac – when in doubt send it back! My daughter believed when she was little that there were Texas yaks, so tell the girls to be on the lookout.

I know, owning one, how you must be missing Mac, but these Dellagraphs aren’t too bad. I kinda like them actually. But Apple has indeed spoiled us.

But not your Mac. The Mac’s coming back. Hit the Road Mac!
So… now what? A new Mac? Battery shortage?
Can’t you just plug it in?
Also, I’m getting a tad worried about all the Pumas hanging around your place.
Can the puppies handle it?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes I can plug it in and it works fine. One of the benefits of the Mac used to be the long battery life which allowed me to work during some medical procedures that I need. So eventually I will need to have the battery replaced. Yes pumas are worrisome for sure. These guys can handle it. Their virtual skills are up to any virtual animal threat. Thanks, Resa.

Ahh, yes… batteries do have a use. Sorry to hear you need medical procedures.
At least you don’t have to wrestle with the pumas, since the puppies have it all under control. x
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes the last puma I wrestled kicked my butt. I don’t mind the procedures since they keep me going. (And it’s only 4 hours every six weeks.)

Pumas tend to win fights against mere mortals. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Ohh, that’s not too bad! Still, a battery would be nice.
Mac is much easier & fun than those other ones.
