Thursday – A Little Personal – Lucy and Twiggy are Back Where They Belong

“Hey, Little One,” what’s up?”

“I’m just thinking how nice it is to be back on Thursday.”

“Yeah, now that dad has finished his book tour, we go back to normal.”

“That was some tour. How many stops did he have?”

“Let’s see. He had Twenty-six wonderful fellow writers who volunteered to host him.”

“He didn’t have to bribe anyone?”

“No. They all offered, and that is what makes the whole thing so special.”

“Well, now that we are back, what say we play?”

“Sounds good. What do you want to play?”

“Not so fast. I have to check this turf to make sure it is still the same.”

“We didn’t go anywhere. The turf should be the same. But, in fact, it was a virtual tour.”

“Well then, why don’t we thank everyone who helped Dad spread the word about his book.”

  19. So nice to see you back where you belong. It was confusing for us regular folk (though we understood it and were so happy for your dad). You ladies came through no matter what day it was. It was a beautiful thing to see all these people come in and help out. Happy Thursday!

  21. Great book tour, John. 🙂 It made me feel good to see your book getting attention at every stop on the tour. It might feel nice to get back to normal, but you sure had a heck of a tour, and managed to let us know how the girls were doing on occasion. Great job!

    How lovely of you to post all the bloggers who helped dad with the book tour. I didn’t go to all of the events, but I went to over a dozen.

    Whew! I’m glad things are back to normal, too!
    So, have either of you read the new book?
    I’ll be reading it soon.
    First I need to catch up a bit on a gown I’m making.

    1. Thank you, Miss Resa. We have trouble holding a Kindle or a book so sadly I must report neither Lucy or I have read any of his books. Don’t worry about reading Dad’s books.
      He’s pretty okay knowing it takes time and does not require his friends to read his books either. In fact he is downright surprised when they do so as an old guy he is pretty mellow. Thaks for the good wishes and I’m sure Dad appreciated all your visits. I’ll pass the OX 👏🏻 OX 🤩 OX 🥰 OX to him.
