Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Lucy Discuss Characters

“Remember two weeks ago when you thought about being a werewolf, Little One?”

“Sure, I remember. I know there were a lot of comments about it from folks.”

“Are you still considering that option?”

“You know there are so many downsides I’ve pretty much decided not to be a werewolf.”

“What are you considering now. You know we can’t play until you decide on what you are going to be.”

“This is a decision that can’t be rushed. It has monumental import on how we go forward.”

“Okay, but maybe you are putting a little too much thought into the whole thing.”

“Can you imagine coming after a wildebeest with the wrong animal?”

“I thought the puma was perfect.”

“Hold on. I think I’m picking up the scent of a puma right now.”

“Excuse me while I continue my stroll. Puma scent indeed.”

“I’m telling you. There has been a puma through here this morning.”

“Why don’t you just give in and keep your puma alter ego.”

“But a puma is a cat. You even said so.”

“But think of how powerful the puma is. Who cares if it is a cat. It is just play time anyway.”

“Playtime? I’m serious. One has been lurking here, just waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting Wildebeest.

“So you are going to be a puma again. Right?”

“The puna turns its back on the slow-moving Wildebeest, knowing the move will confuse the poor dumb animal.”

“I’ll take that as a yes.”

  1. Hi John, Twiggy could consider a wild dog as they are extraordinary hunters with a 90% kill success rate.

  2. I kind of like the idea of Twiggy as a puma. (Being the cat lover that I am.) But she’s adorable no matter what!

    1. I liked that idea too. I think she might be getting comfortable in the role.

  4. Did Twiggy think about being possessed by a Hellhound on Thursdays?

    1. Now there’s a thought. We could have a little ceremony and then the conversion could tale place. Shaazzam.

  5. Frankly, I appreciate all the thought Twiggy is putting into this. A puma is a cat, a big one who could have her for lunch, but be that as it may…it’s in the cat family, and a girl had her standards after all.

May I suggest a fox, which she is anyway, she’s so attractive and well-groomed, and foxes are very foxy and could handle a wildebeest…wrap one around its little claw. Maybe you’ll mention it. šŸ™‚

    1. I will certainly mention it and thank you, Susannah for the suggestion. She knows about foxes so I have to wonder why she didn’t think of it. I think she might be going for massive. šŸ˜

      1. As long as it’s not a rhino. That could certainly wear one out even in jest. šŸ™‚

  7. The girls are hilarious as usual. Maybe Twiggy could be a a coyote? I’m sure you have some around. They are brave around here – two walked right through our neighbor’s yard in broad daylight one day (at our old house, which was in the woods.)

  18. Twiggy cracks me up! Maybe she isn’t really thinking those thoughts, but she must act like she is. I’ve probably said this before, that she reminds me of our youngest cat, Raji. The way he plays and chases after our other cats or even bits of velcro (of all things), his imagination must work overtime šŸ˜‰

  21. Just remember: it’s a girl’s perogative to change her mind! Beyond that, since Twiggy can’t go shopping for new outfits, maybe she’s just trying on some new identities.

  30. Well, Twiggy, look at it. this way!
Puma is also a famous brand of sneakers. Think of how fast you can run in a “pair of pumas”! That’s 2 pumas in 1.
No wildebeest can outrun the speed of 2 pumas in one.
    Sorry Lucy!
I just had to try to end this insanity. If you are worried about the speed of 2 pumas, you could switch to Pronghorn. (second fastest land mammal after cheetah)

    Inform dad:
    The šŸ‚ however, can only get up to 40 M/P/H. A red šŸ¦Š -f can reach 50M/P/H.
ā°ā° – cl run if wound and šŸ‚šŸ‚ – en still only run up to 40 M/P/H no matter how many there are.
