“Hey, Twiggy. What you got there?”

“It’s a butterfly.”

“I’ve got this special Martian.”

“What makes it special?”

 

“He flies. See.”

Uh-huh. I can see that.”

“Of course, he sometimes gets lost.”

“Look behind you.”

“Oh my gosh. There he is.”

“Amazing.”

“Oh no, you don’t, Mr. Martain. No more flying today.”

“Good to keep those kids reined in.”

“What’s reined in mean?”

“Under control.”

“I have him under control for sure.”

“It does look that way.”

“You want to play with him?”

“No, I’m still working on this butterfly.”

“Okay, then. I’ll take him for a walk.”

“Don’t get lost.”

  5. Love Twiggy’s short and concise answers. Just enough to show she’s paying attention but not enough to engage! Everyone seems to be getting along. That’s a wonderful thing.

  7. Twiggy sure is focussed on that butterfly! She seems good at multitasking, lol. It’s wonderful to see the two getting along so well. Thanks for sharing the fun, and give the two little furballs ear scratches from me. Hugs 🤗💕🙂

  9. Twiggy’s cool nonchalance in the face of Tempeste’s enthusiasm is so funny. It is fun to see interactions like these, as well as their human’s interpretations of the action.

    1. Twiggy is definitely the slow mover of the two. As you can imagine, Tempeste is a bundle of energy 100% of the time. Twiggy pretty much ignores her when she is doing something on her own. Thanks, Linda.

  13. Your girls play so calmly. My guy is on a mission to destroy his as fast as possible. (He learned from his older brothers.) Sending ear scratches and hoping you all stay cool indoors.

  22. Reminds me of when Domer was a wee lad in preschool. Some kids would seem completely happy playing solo, while others just had to have company. Good that these two can play separately together!

  36. Oh my what a pair! Nothing better then hanging out with a dog. Well maybe 2 dogs 😉 Sometimes all you need is some little dog therapy and when they live with you what a gift! ❤
