Thursday – A Little Personal – Twiggy and Tempeste Meet a Monster

“What is that thing, Twiggy?”

“It’s a window Bot.”

A window bot? What kind of crazy is that?”

“Dad-kind of crazy. He’s tired of paying to have windows done.”

“So he’s allowed another bot into the house? AI is going to take over.”

“Yep. I don’t know about takeover. Right now it is most annoying.”

“I just wanted to look out and check if there were some St. Louis candidates  lurking.”

“Yeah, well, not right now. That thing is doing our window.”

“How long is it gont ot be there?”

“Hard to tell. Maybe five minutes.”

“I’ll keep watch. Maybe it will get the hint and move on.”

“Don’t count on it. Those things don’t listen well.”

“Can we bark it away?”

“Sorry, No. They have no fear of us for sure.”

“I give up. I think it’s going to be there all day.”

“I’ll give you five minutes; it’s really 35 minutes in dog time.”

“That is an eternity.”

“Not quite. Wait. I think it is done.”

Oh no, girls, the bots are taking over! Does it really clean the windows??

Yes, it cleans the windows. Not as well as I could, but at 85, it is a great substitute. Especially for those high windows that need a ladder.

I must live in a cave. I never heard of this thing. I figured out a way so I don’t have to wash windows …. I mess it up and leave streaks. Then Charlotte comes in and yells for a minute and I never have to do them again. Call me a “problem solver.”

It attaches to the window and then sprays cleaner and wipes it clean. The unit costs less than one window-crew wash.

A window bot?! What a great thing! I need a bot to remove the screens from two higher outside windows that require a ladder…and I am not up to that. How abot it, bot? 🙄😆

    1. John W. Howell's avatar

The screens are on the outside? If so, I would go up on the inside. Open the window, unhook them, and let them fall to the ground. (Or pull them in)

You guys have a window cleaner bot?? How cool is that?! Don’t worry Tempeste and Twiggy…it’ll be done and gone before you know it. I’d have to have that thing running all day long to take care of Wilson’s nose art.

Ha ha ha. I know what you mean. Yes, we got it for the higher windows that need a ladder. The decree has come down from The Producer… “No more ladders”

Bless The Producer for her safety advocacy over you. It took us forever to impress upon my 96 year old dad to stop climbing up ladders which he did until last year. Awk!

I’m going to need to take care of my second story exterior windows and just found someone. Now to budget for that extra expense.

        1. John W. Howell's avatar

More expense is right. There is a Windex product that attaches to a hose and can reach the upper stories. It does a good job on exterior windows. A lot cheaper than a hired service.

This is officially my “learn-something-new-every-day” achievement today. I had no idea a device like this existed, but boy do I get ruling out ladders at all costs. They were never, ever my thing. I don’t trust ladders, but perhaps over time the girls will learn to trust the “win-bot.”
